Ryan Rafferty is a house/bass house/tech house music producer and dj who caught the dance music bug in the 90’s of which his passion and enthusiasm for it never fades. Opening up the blank canvas always filling with a sense of wonder and excitement, eager to see where the notes and melodies will lead. Ryan grew up in Newry, Northern Ireland and now living in Perth, Australia.
Ryan’s own productions have released on well known labels like Ministry Of Sound, Maelstrom Records, Judgement Recordings, Blue Pie Records and has had his work supported by a wide variety of DJ’s like Judge Jules, with remixes of his own productions such as Nimrod – My Life – Adam Sheridan Mix being spun by dance legends such as Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Johan Gielen and Tiesto.
Ryan Rafferty’s tracks have also earned him an impressive array of spins by world class DJ superstar Judge Jules who regularly features his own productions on his podcast the Global Warm Up which reaches over 750,000 listeners.
Recently Ryan has had his track “Let You Love” feature as a world exclusive on BBC Music Introducing Dance. Ryan’s release “Ryan Rafferty – Psyched” had been picked up and signed to EDX DJ SIRUP RECORDS sub label S2 Records and was added to DJ Tiësto Musical Freedom’s Best of 2022 Spotify playlist.
Ryan also sits under many aliases’ including Weekend Warriors where he had earned UK BBC Radio 1 dance chart success in 2011 with his spin on “Don’t Stop Believing” which aired on Scott Mills Drivetime show- currently signed to Hard2Beat/Ministry Of Sound.
Producing music is truly a passion of Ryan’s, something he has devoted years to. The best is yet to come.
