Ryan grew up in Northern Ireland and now living in Perth, Australia.

Ryans own productions have released on well known labels like Ministry Of Sound, Maelstrom Records, Judgement Recordings, Blue Pie Records and has had his work supported by a wide variety of DJs like Judge Jules, with remixes of his own productions such as Nimrod - My Life - Adam Sheridan Mix being spun by dance legends such as Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Johan Gielen and Tiesto.
Ryan Raffertys tracks have also earned him an impressive array of spins by world class DJ superstar Judge Jules who regularly features his own productions on his podcast the Global Warm Up which reaches over 750,000 listeners. Ryan had his track “Let You Love” featured as a world exclusive on BBC Music Introducing Dance.
Ryans release "Ryan Rafferty - Psyched" had been picked up and signed to EDX DJ SIRUP RECORDS sub label S2 Records and was added to DJ Tiësto Musical Freedoms Best of 2022 Spotify playlist. Other productions include Ryan Rafferty FT Amritha - In The Aftermath which is signed to Judge Jules record label Judgement Recordings.
Ryan also sits under many aliases including Weekend Warriors where he had earned UK BBC Radio 1 dance chart success with his spin on “Dont Stop Believing” which aired on Scott Mills Drivetime show - currently signed to Hard2Beat/Ministry Of Sound.
